the evidence is the slit cheeks near the mouth, the long purple coat and bright crazy clothes , the humorous psycho with clever words, in fact i think the only difference is the joker laugh.
p.s im not saying heath ripped it off maybe the producers or the movie bosses.



I doubt he is a rip-off, but the Joker may have been inspired by him. The Joker was created a while back so (depending on how long ago Ichi the Killer was made) he might be a completely original idea.
Btw, if the Joker was a rip-off, it wouldn’t have anything to do with Heath Ledger. Heath just acted the part given to him. He didn’t pick out the costume, make the script, or come up with the slit cheeks. Well, that I know of….
